Chemical-free, fragrance-free and vegan-friendly tattoo aftercare - hand made in Australia!
Our 'Soothing, Protective, Healing Balm' received a make-over! It's the same product that we've been getting fantastic feedback on these last several years, but because some of that feedback was increasingly on how great it is for healing tattoos, well, we were only too happy to oblige when the request came in for a different label! (Read some of our Tattoo-specific feedback HERE)
You can purchase either Healing Balm or Tattoo Balm from here, or if you want to let others (or your tattoo artist) know more about it, send them over to the Tattoo Balm website.
"One of the best products on the market. If you have a problem tattoo that just will not settle down, this is the absolute best I have seen in 40+ years tattooing!!!"
UPDATE: As you may know, we have been trying to come up with a new formula, since we're unable to obtain Macadamia Wax any longer. So far, we've not been successful in our trials.... whilst what we're left with is the same amazing skin healing and softening, the initial feel is somewhat greasy; which none of us likes! So, the bad news is we still don't have stock that we're happy enough to sell. The GOOD news though is the discovery of some new ingredients which potentially means the balm will be even more awesome! Please check back with us again in March and in the mean time, send us your best vibes that we get this finalised quickly. We're so sorry about the delay - we appreciate the support and the queries we've been getting and we are doing our best to get a new and improved amazing Healing Balm to you soon!
Best wishes, Xina & Chris
Please always follow the advice you receive from your Tattoo Artist.
Can be used pre-tattoo to help prep the skin, brilliant during the tattoo process, for post-artwork healing, and for long term care and maintenance.
With clean hands, apply a small amount (a little really does go a looong way!) to dry skin, and lightly rub in. It will melt with body heat and sink in quite quickly so you won't need to worry about any greasiness or stickiness.
For new tattoos, apply 2-3 times per day until healed. Allow 30 minutes after washing the tattoo to ensure skin is completely dry, so that you don't seal in any moisture.
Once healed, you can continue to apply the Tattoo Balm to keep the skin moisturised and nourished.
